Honeywell Sportsman Club

Saturday, February 20
This is a 60-bird shoot - 5 doubles at each of 6 stations, plus a few rounds of Elimination.
There is no pre-shoot practice!

Sign-in starts at 8:30 AM
Shoot starts promptly at 9:00 AM

Entry: $5.00 per shooter.

Bring: Shotgun, 4 boxes of ammo, hearing and eye protection, wear boots.

Optional: Lawn chairs, hunt stools for comfort at trapping locations, canteen with water.

(If you don’t have a suitable shotgun, most friendly club members would be willing to allow you to shoot theirs, if you provide your own shot shells.)

Directions:
Go north on I-17 to the Table Mesa exit (exit 236). Cross back over the freeway heading west. Just past the frontage road which heads north is a minor road with a wire gate across it. Go through the wire gate and the road will loop around heading south. Follow the road south for about 1.2 miles to where it meets the pipeline swath. Cross the pipeline and follow the jeep trail for another 1.6 miles to a clearing on the north side of the road. The road past the pipeline is pretty rough. A car won’t make it. Pickups and truck-based SUVs should be OK. (Click map to the right for a larger view.)

Guests are welcome to participate.
